The bill passed the committee but languished in the Appropriations Committee. Several state agencies predicted economic doom if the WBI bill would pass even though there is no employer mandate or state involvement with enforcement of a law. The Allentown Productions documentary crew filmed the hearing and included some testimony in their 2009 film “Murder By Proxy“
