Some public figures get very bad press for the things that they do but not one bully has been crucified by the press. Surely there are people who are so abusive that they could qualify for public scrutiny.

Instead of reading about sexual partners, we might be reading about victims who have been destroyed by a particularly nasty celebrity.

I take what Jay said as a call to get more radical. We have been soooo polite to lawmakers and employers. We have to challenge assumptions that employers have all the rights and workers should beg for dignity. To date, we have been grateful to the 200 lawmakers who have co-sponsored our bill in various states. But none has been an outspoken champion, willing to run an election campaign on a platform of employee rights expansion and the anti-bullying Healthy Workplace Bill. So they have done us few favors. As for controversy within the anti-bullying community, it will only be used by the unified opposition (Chambers of Commerce in all states) to mock us. What did you have in mind? Gary Namie

Controversy can create media interest.

Consider John and Kate plus 8.

Perhaps, there needs to be more controversy within the anti-bullying community.
