Forensic psychiatrist’s take on Sandy Hook massacre
Dr. Michael Welner, an expert witness in high-profile massacre cases and contributor to the documentary about workplace massacres, Murder By Proxy, stated several reasons for the Sandy Hook school massacre on ABC-TV The View. Here are the video clips (sorry for the commercial). Summary of Welner’s reasons: (1) personal responsibility for actions never accepted by the individuals during development, (2) they see much violence accepted as normal part of society and prefer devastation and destruction, and (3) they see a nation shocked (first graders slaughtered) and see the pathway toward a legacy for themselves in topping the last event’s shock value.
