The National Rifle Association, as political lobbyist, has advocated and had passed Guns in the Workplace laws. Imagine the emotionally volatile bully being armed at his desk with ready access to the weapon at the most inopportune time. Utah and Oklahoma passed laws but they were set aside by courts because employers fought the law. In Florida, the state Chamber of Commerce opposed the law, but it passed nevertheless, thanks to NRA backing.
Here’s the NRA boasting about its legislative accomplishments through its lobbying group — ILA (Institute for Legislative Action). You decide if they are nuts or right.
