Workplace Bullying for Leaders

The Workplace Bullying movement in the U.S. has evolved since its founding by the Drs. Namie in 1997. The early attention necessarily was focused on the plight of injured, bullied individuals. Next, came the push for legislation -- the Healthy Workplace Bill campaign -- to compel employer action by state law to prevent and correct health-harming abusive conduct at work. No comprehensive law has been enacted in any state.

Now we find that wise, fiscally responsible, and cutting-edge employers are voluntarily taking proactive steps to address previously ignored workplace bullying. We support and encourage positive voluntary employer actions.

Good employers WANT to do something but are not sure WHAT to do. We can help.
