On Saturday, July 7, 2012 10:00 am (pacific time), the Workplace Bullying Institute launches its live Webinar series.

Being “Iced Out” at Work

Dr. Namie will describe how isolation, social exclusion, ostracism, and shunning by coworkers prevents an individual from having a normal work life. Coworker betrayal is common and should be expected. The session explores social psychological theories about unhelpful non-intervening witnesses to the bullying and ways to break the cycle of silence.

    Pain inflicted by social exclusion is just as hurtful as harsh, untrue critcism and other bullying tactics by those in power.

    Going on a job five days a week 8 to10 hours a day is a lot. Today‘s work world leaders are the leading cause of workplace conflict/drama. I was once so depressed and hurt by the unethical actions of my boss. Three years
    of pure hell! In March my friend recommend I purchase Halo-Orangees employer-employee “one accord” Volume I.  It is a motivational book on the job survival manual!

    I am so glad I purchased this book. It has really enhanced my frame of mind when it comes to my workplace. I am the only one who controls my actions. Quote from book “Tomorrow is the beginning of a fresh start with a new perspective, meaning, Don’t allow the attitude and actions of yesterday to
    dictate your tomorrow.”’ You are the only one who defines you, so don’t ever
    allow anyone to tell you who you are, or that you are not good enough.”  There’s so much self-help information in this book. I love the stress chapter the most. The real life issues that happen to people in real life are so moving. The Author of Halo-Orangees wrote this book because her boss told her another employee was better than she was because this employee had to master degrees. The workforce is declining daily.
